Set of Six 18th Century Georgian Petal Moulded Drinking Glasses c1780

£340.00

On offer is a rare and desirable set of six Georgian drinking glasses, dating to around c.1780. These are classic petal moulded rummers, each hand-blown and individually finished — resulting in natural variations in height, bowl shape, and moulding, exactly as expected of true 18th-century production.

The glasses display a lovely oily tone typical of early lead glass and produce a clear, resonant ping when lightly tapped. Each piece has a snapped pontil mark to the base and stands at approximately 4.25 inches tall. Despite their age of nearly 240 years, all six glasses remain in good antique condition with no chips or cracks.

A highly collectible, seldom-seen full set offering both historical charm and elegant display value.
