On offer here is a superb group of welsh love spoons. Most are made of wood and three are solid brass. The large solid brass example is stamped on the reverse and made in Pontypridd wales, this brass spoon is approx 16 inches long. The wood spoons are of varying lengths, the largest at approx 18 inches, all are in good condition and very collectible. the history of the love spoon is a man would carve a spoon for his bride or lover and the more detailed the carving the greater the love.
