Chinese Qing Rose Mandarin Canton Plate c1850 Porcelain 19th Century
£ 55.00
On offer is an early Qing dynasty Rose Mandarin Canton plate dating to around 1850. This fine porcelain example displays the richly detailed famille rose palette associated with mid-19th-century export wares, featuring courtly scenes, florals, and gilt highlights. The presence of gilding in the hair and adornments indicates an earlier and higher-quality period of Rose Mandarin production.
Measuring approximately 8.25 inches in diameter, the plate is in good condition with no chips or cracks. There is expected wear to the gilding, mainly around the central medallion, consistent with age and use. A well-preserved and decorative example of 19th-century Canton export porcelain.
