On offer is a large Art Nouveau majolica vase by Royal Dux (Duxer Porzellen Manufactur), dating to around 1918. Produced in richly glazed majolica, the vase displays hand-painted floral decoration in vibrant reds, greens and blues, set against a sculptural twin-handled form rising from a pedestal base. Royal Dux, founded in 1860 in Bohemia, became known for its highly decorative Art Nouveau ceramics, noted for flowing organic lines and detailed modelling.
