On offer here is one of the most beautiful cake stands i have had. this example dates to circa 1880 – 1890 it was produced by Copeland in fine porcelain, the stand has been beautifully hand painted and even rarer they have also painted the underside of the dish, never seen that before as it isnt a surface that would be in your line of sight, the painted and gilding is in beautiful condition, no chips or cracks, it has the odd mark but very good condition and amazing when you consider the age. size approx 4.5 inches tall 9 inches diameter.
