On offer here is a stunning but at fault Antique 19th Century Famille Rose Canister Vase and Cover. This is an early example, circa 1850, there are still gilt highlights in the hair of the figures, etc which is an indicator of an earlier piece of this type of wear. the vase/canister is stunning, it stands at approx 3.5 inches tall and 3 inches in diameter. The condition is, the lid has been stuck on to the base, there is a crack in the lid so they may have stuck the lid on because of the crack but there could be rim damage underneath the lid if you removed it, if you want this for display, learning or restoration it is a stunning example and very cheap.
