18th Century Berlin Porcelain Love Mug – Hand-Painted Stag Scene
£70.00
On offer is a rare 18th-century Berlin porcelain two-handled love mug, produced during the early Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur (KPM Berlin) period between 1763 and 1837. The mug is finely hand-painted with a pastoral stag and doe in a soft landscape, complemented by floral sprays and delicate enamel detailing. Early Berlin porcelain is known for its high-quality white body and refined decorative work, both of which are evident in this example.
The mug measures approximately 70mm in height and remains in excellent antique condition with only light age-related wear. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs, and the painted scene retains strong colour and definition.
