19th Century KPM Berlin Porcelain Plate Blue Onion Pattern
£ 70.00
On offer is a 19th-century hand-painted porcelain plate by KPM Berlin (Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur), decorated in the classic blue onion pattern. The design, originally developed in the Meissen tradition, was later refined by leading German manufactories such as KPM, whose cobalt underglaze work is known for its clarity and precision. This example carries the KPM Berlin underglaze mark on the reverse, dating it to the mid–late 19th century. The plate measures approx. 7 inches in diameter and remains in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
