On offer is an 18th century Chinese porcelain plate from the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty (1736–1795). Hand-painted in cobalt blue, it features the classic Bamboo and Peony pattern, a well-known motif in mid-Qing export wares and valued for its elegant balance of floral and landscape detail.
This example measures approx. 23cm in diameter and displays fine brushwork typical of Qianlong blue and white porcelain. Condition is good for age, with small fritting chips to the rim and some light staining to the surface, both common in genuine 18th century pieces.
