Antique Liberty Pewter Bowl by Oliver Baker Arts and Crafts 1902
£ 695.00
On offer is an antique Arts and Crafts pewter bowl designed by Oliver Baker for Liberty & Co in 1902. Baker was a key designer within Liberty’s artistic circle, known for his refined metalwork and contribution to the firm’s distinctive early 20th-century style. This large hammered pewter bowl is supported by five feet, each formed as upright plant motifs, reflecting the naturalistic design language of the Arts and Crafts movement. It retains an unrestored, original patina, giving it strong period character. The rim shows a slight distortion from age, consistent with early Liberty pewter.
