On offer here is a superb group of welsh mining memorabilia. Each piece has been crafted out of welsh coal and the one-piece has been mounted on a 400 million-year-old welsh slate. there is an amazing selection here all depicting Welsh mining history, firstly we have a beautiful miner’s safety lamp,size approx 4.25 inches tall. next, you have a miner pushing a cart full of coal with his miner’s lamp on the top of the coal, size of this one is approx 7.5 inches long 4 inches high. Next, you have a miner sat down he stands at approx 4.5 inches tall and finally we have the Pithead with three miners in front of a winding wheel mounted on a slate mined from the north wales quarries, the size of this one is 6.25 inches in diameter. All these portray a wonderful story of hard-working Welsh miners. the condition is good with wear commensurate to age and use.
