On offer is a clear Whitefriars Glacier glass jug designed by Geoffrey Baxter. Dating from the 1960s to 1970s, the cylindrical body has a heavily textured surface with a smooth applied handle and neatly formed pouring spout.

Geoffrey Baxter became one of Whitefriars’ most influential designers, introducing bold mould blown textures to postwar British glass. This Whitefriars Glacier jug is pattern M142, combining a tactile ice like surface with a practical tableware form.
