On offer is a vintage 1930s Mentmore fountain pen with a blue marbled celluloid body and a 14ct gold nib marked Mentmore Osmi Iridium 14ct Gold. The pen has a button filling mechanism which is currently not working and will require servicing before use.

The Mentmore Manufacturing Company began producing pens in London in 1919 and became known for well made celluloid fountain pens and its own Osmi Iridium gold nibs. The cap fits and threads correctly but differs slightly in colour and size, so it may be a later replacement. This Mentmore fountain pen is offered as a collectible restoration project.
