On offer is a very rare T G Green Ivanhoe hand painted slip design vase, produced in England and decorated with stylised floral motifs strongly influenced by the Art Nouveau movement. The vase is formed in pottery with a flowing vertical profile, enhanced by applied slip decoration and a soft, muted colour palette typical of early 20th century design.

T G Green of Church Gresley, Derbyshire, is best known for its long standing pottery production, with the Ivanhoe range representing some of the firm’s more decorative and artistically ambitious wares. Pieces from this range are increasingly scarce, with documented examples held in museum collections. This vase shows careful hand decoration and balanced proportions, reflecting the craftsmanship of the period. A fine example of Art Nouveau pottery that brings character and authenticity to any interior.
