On offer here is a Very Rare Early John Hughes Pottery Grogg Bulldog or pug 1977. John Hughes started creating pieces in his garden shed in 1965. Now, the company is world famous and has produced pieces from rugby players to famous people to grotesque animals and sheep with comical messages plus so much more. This bulldog is dated by the signature 1977 which makes it a very early example, it is only 12 years into the creation of the company. it is a large dog at approx 7.5 inches tall and 8 inches long. I have searched online and can not find another for sale worldwide. If you love gorggs, if you love bulldogs, or love to invest in art you can enjoy this is a fine example for you.
