On offer is an uncirculated 2016 Last Round Pound coin, struck personally by a visitor to the Royal Mint. These final round-pound issues marked the end of a long series of circulating British £1 coins before the introduction of the new twelve-sided design in 2017. Following striking, the coin was placed directly into its capsule and has never entered circulation.

The plastic case shows notable dirt and surface wear, but the coin itself remains in mint condition, retaining its original lustre. A desirable and increasingly collectable example of the final year of the round £1 coin.
