Whitefriars Sparrow Beak Jugs Blue and Ruby Pair

On offer are two Whitefriars sparrow beak jugs, one in blue and the other in ruby red. Each jug displays the elegant hand-blown form characteristic of Whitefriars glass, with the classic sparrow beak pouring lip and clear applied handle. Both pieces have a ground and polished pontil mark, and the ruby example retains its original Whitefriars paper label.

Whitefriars, one of England’s oldest glasshouses, produced high-quality art glass throughout the 20th century, recognised for its rich colours and precise workmanship. The blue jug stands just over 6 inches tall, while the ruby jug measures just over 5 inches. Condition is good for both.
