On offer is a pair of vintage solid brass miners lamp models, made as miniature representations of traditional mining safety lamps. Each piece is finely constructed in brass, with one example retaining its glass section while the other is without glass, giving a pleasing contrast within the pair.

These models stand approximately 3 inches tall and reflect the enduring association between brass safety lamps and the British mining industry. Such decorative models were often produced as commemorative or souvenir pieces, and they are possibly linked to the period of the miners strike, adding contextual interest. The brass surfaces show natural ageing consistent with vintage examples.

Both lamps present well and display honest signs of age. A characterful pair of vintage brass miners lamp models that capture an important aspect of industrial heritage.
