Ilias Lalaounis Brass and Sterling Silver Dishes Pair
£70.00
On offer is a pair of brass decorative dishes each set with a central sterling silver medallion, designed in the style of Ilias Lalaounis. The silver roundels feature classical Greek imagery, one depicting Pegasus in relief and the other a geometric motif reminiscent of ancient Greek coinage. Both dishes are stamped 925 and retain their original aged patina.
Ilias Lalaounis (1920–2013) became internationally recognised for reviving ancient Greek techniques and motifs in modern jewellery and decorative arts. His work is represented in major museum collections and remains highly sought after for its distinctive blend of archaeology-inspired design and fine craftsmanship.
