On offer is a charming pair of Coopercraft Melrose ceramic sheepdogs, representing the much loved Old English Sheepdog, often affectionately referred to as the Dulux dog. The larger figure was produced by Coopercraft and displays excellent modelling with a realistic hand painted finish. It retains its original factory sticker and is a fine example of the quality for which Coopercraft became well known.

Founded in Staffordshire, Coopercraft earned a strong reputation during the twentieth century for producing finely modelled ceramic animal figures, many of which are now highly collectable. Accompanying it is a smaller Melrose sheepdog with a simpler but equally appealing design that complements the larger figure perfectly. Both figures are in good vintage condition. The Coopercraft dog measures approximately 8 inches long and 7 inches high, while the Melrose example measures approximately 5 inches long and 4.5 inches high.
