On offer are two Czechoslovakian porcelain elephants produced by Royal Dux and dating to around 1945, identified by their period backstamp. Royal Dux, founded in 1853 in Duchcov (Dux), became known for its finely modelled figurines and high-quality art porcelain, widely collected throughout the 20th century. Both elephants are well-formed examples of the firm’s naturalistic style and are in good condition.

The larger elephant measures approximately 4.5 inches long and 3.5 inches tall, while the smaller is around 3.75 inches long and 3 inches tall. A pair of mid-century Royal Dux porcelain elephants that display the craftsmanship for which the factory is recognised.
