Two Bronze Czechoslovakian Badges 1929 and 1948
£25.00
On offer are two bronze Czechoslovakian badges dating from 1929 and 1948. The earlier piece, measuring approximately 50mm across, features stylised birds in flight with the inscription zajezd c.o.s. doplzne. The second badge, around 45mm tall, depicts a falcon with ribbon and carries the inscription vsesokolsky slet v praze 1948, referring to the nationwide Sokol gathering held in Prague that year. These events formed a significant part of Czech sporting and cultural identity during the twentieth century.
Both badges display age-consistent wear and remain strong examples of early and mid-century Czechoslovakian bronze insignia.
