On offer is a pale blue pressed glass Dolphin bowl made by Sowerby during the Art Deco period. Pattern number 1544 features three moulded dolphins supporting a broad bowl decorated with stylised flowers and foliage.

Sowerby first introduced its Dolphin bowl design in 1882 and later revived the mould, with a modified version registered in 1933. The impressed peacock trademark visible underneath supports the Sowerby attribution. The pattern’s development and registration are documented here.
