On offer is a rare miniature Welsh brass miners’ lamp, marked “Yorwal, Abercynon, Glam.” on the base. Abercynon in South Wales is closely associated with the region’s deep-rooted coal mining history, and this small lamp reflects the traditional Davy-style safety lamp form used throughout the industry. Made in solid brass with a clear glass chamber, this finely crafted miniature remains an appealing piece of industrial heritage.

The lamp measures approximately 6 inches (15 cm) tall without the handle and is in good condition with no visible damage. A scarce and highly collectible Welsh brass miners lamp Yorwal Abercynon miniature.
