Marked Schutz Cilli Austria on the reverse, this charger represents the quality associated with the Cilli workshop, known for its vibrant glazes and detailed moulding. Measuring an impressive 17 inches in diameter, it remains in very good antique condition with no cracks; a small flea-bite chip on the cherub’s knee is noted and shown in the images. A striking and rare example of Austrian majolica with strong decorative and collector appeal.
