On offer is an official Royal Mint Farthing Bear measuring approximately 10 inches tall when seated. It has soft honey coloured plush, black eyes and a purple ribbon, with The Royal Mint name embroidered on one paw and a farthing wren motif on the other.

The bear retains its original Royal Mint swing tag and branded cotton drawstring bag. Its wren decoration references the familiar reverse design used on later British farthings. Farthing production ended in 1956, and the denomination ceased to be legal tender at the end of 1960.
