Royal Crown Derby Porcelain Plates Victorian Chandos Blue and White Design
£ 25.00
On offer is a pair of Royal Crown Derby porcelain plates dating to the late Victorian period. Each features the desirable Chandos pattern, a refined blue and white floral design with a gilt rim. The reverse bears the Royal Crown Derby mark together with the Victorian registration lozenge, precisely dating the plates to 17 February 1883. Royal Crown Derby, founded in 1750, is celebrated for its fine English porcelain and became a leading maker of high-quality tableware throughout the 19th century.
The Chandos pattern showcases delicate botanical motifs and crisp transfer work, typical of Derby’s craftsmanship during this period. Both plates remain in good antique condition and display beautifully, offering a well-preserved example of Victorian Royal Crown Derby porcelain.
