Royal Brierley Studio Glass Bowl Michael Harris Iridescent
£25.00
On offer is a Royal Brierley Studio glass bowl designed by Michael Harris, finished in an orange-red iridescent surface characteristic of his experimental studio work of the late twentieth century. Harris, founder of both Mdina Glass and the Isle of Wight Studio Glass, collaborated with Royal Brierley Studio during the 1970s–1980s, bringing his distinctive organic forms and shimmering lustre finishes to their limited-edition ranges.
This example is signed to the base Royal Brierley Studio and displays a rich iridescence with subtle surface texture. Measuring approximately 8 inches in diameter and 4.5 inches tall, it is in good condition with no chips or cracks; there is a small inch-long rough area on the inside rim, noted for accuracy.
A fine and visually striking example of Michael Harris’s Royal Brierley Studio glass.
