On offer is a rare Victorian Staffordshire pottery bowl featuring transfer-printed floral decoration and an advertising cartouche for Gwalia Brands for Quality, Llandissilio, issued for John Morris of Pembrokeshire. Advertising wares of this type were produced in limited quantities during the late 19th century and are now increasingly sought after as part of regional and commercial ceramics history. The bowl displays the typical creamy Staffordshire body with printed scrolling florals. It measures approximately 9.25 inches in diameter and 2.25 inches high.

Condition notes: the gilding around the rim has worn away; two small flea-bite chips are present on the underside of the rim; the interior shows crazing with some staining, but no cracks.
