This example is dated P2000 to the base and retains its original Perthshire Paperweights label, confirming production at the Crieff studio in Scotland. Perthshire Paperweights were founded in 1968 and are internationally respected for their precision glassmaking, complex millefiori canes and limited production runs. The unusual cane arrangement and lack of recorded identical examples suggest this may have been a design study or a one off piece from the year 2000.
