Georgian Engraved Glass Rummer Oversized Late Georgian Example
£300.00
On offer is a rare oversized Georgian engraved glass rummer dating to around 1830, formed in a three-part construction with a snapped sharp pontil and substantial late-Georgian weight. The bowl is deeply engraved with a grape and vine pattern, showing clear striations and the characteristic oily grey tone often found in early 19th-century glass. The foot displays extensive natural wear consistent with genuine period use. This unusually large Georgian engraved glass rummer is far bigger than standard examples, as shown in comparison images.
A remarkable late Georgian rummer that brings exceptional scale, presence and authenticity to any antique glass collection.
