On offer is a substantial Jamaican terracotta collection comprising a traditional coal stove, two yabba pots and a metal jug. The stove and vessels display the warm burnished surfaces associated with Jamaican domestic earthenware.

Yabba pots have a long history in Jamaica as vessels used for cooking, serving and storage, while terracotta coal stoves were made for domestic cooking. The collection has been owned for several years and was described by the previous dealer as a museum example. A surviving label reads Jamaican Collection, although no documented museum provenance is available.
