Rare 19th Century Hand Painted Jewelled Porcelain Ormolu Footed Bowl
On offer here is a truly stunning antique. Here we have a beautiful piece of early porcelain, in my opinion, the first half of the 19th century, This porcelain has then been painted with a cartouch in the center with flowers and the rest of the bowl has been Jewelled, what I mean by that is they have painted dots to simulate jewels. The porcelain has then been mounted on Bronze / Ormolu mounts. I can not tell you who made this, it has a look of being by Worcester, however, it could just as easily be by Swansea porcelain the quality is that good, The downside is, there was once a top half or lid which I do not have. now, this does display well as a bowl on a shelf or you could try to match up a bronze lid off something else or have one made. please view all the images and make your own mind up. The size is approx 5 inches high and 6.5 inches in diameter.
