During the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries its use expanded under the reigns of Sultan Faisal bin Turki and Sultan Taimur bin Feisal, before being incorporated into the national flag in 1970. The crowned version of the emblem was reserved for directly royal entities and branches of the Sultan’s Armed Forces. Glassware bearing this armorial is highly uncommon and was likely produced for official or ceremonial use. This example stands approximately 5.5 inches tall and is in good condition.
