The badge features the Roman numeral XIII set within a laurel wreath and surmounted by the King’s Crown, with the Hussars scroll below and the motto Viret in Aeternum.

This early example shows age-related wear to the brass but remains well-defined, with both components intact. A desirable piece of British cavalry insignia, representing a regiment with service dating back to the mid-18th century.
