Pair Engraved Hobs and Barley Facet Cut Ale Glasses

£25.00

On offer is a pair of finely engraved hobs and barley facet cut ale glasses. Although made in the Georgian style, these examples are, in my opinion, likely from the late Victorian to early 20th century period, reflecting the continued popularity of traditional cut glass patterns.

Each glass features crisp facet cutting to the lower bowl, an engraved hobs-and-barley motif, and a well-formed stem. They produce a clear, resonant ring when pinged and are in good condition with no chips or cracks. The glasses stand at approximately 5 inches tall.
