On offer is a vintage Oiva Toikka Kastehelmi plate in apple green, produced by Nuutajärvi Glassworks in Finland. Designed in 1964, Kastehelmi (meaning “dewdrop”) is one of Toikka’s most celebrated patterns, featuring concentric raised droplets that catch and reflect the light with characteristic Finnish modernist style. This example retains its original label and is in good vintage condition.

The plate measures just under 7 inches in diameter, a classic small size within the range. A fine early example of a Kastehelmi plate by Oiva Toikka, highly collectable and beautifully representative of mid-20th-century Scandinavian glass design.
