On offer is a Native Australian Kylie boomerang with primitive carved footprints, a curved wooden form and a dark, worn surface. This appears to be an older piece rather than a typical modern tourist souvenir. If originally made for the tourist market, it is understood to have been made a long time ago, although its exact age is unknown.

The term Kylie is documented in historic Australian boomerang collections, including the British Museum collection. The carved decoration makes this an interesting example for collectors of Australian objects.
