On offer is a Middle Eastern white metal brooch of oval form, decorated with a raised floral and scrolling design. The central motif is framed by rope twist detail and an ornate scalloped border with applied bead decoration, giving the piece a strongly traditional appearance.

The exact metal content has not been tested. It may be a low grade silver or silver alloy, but it is being described conservatively as white metal. The reverse retains its simple pin fitting and shows the hand worked character of the construction.
