On offer is a mid century Finnish blue glass Ruusu vase designed by Tamara Aladin for Riihimäen Lasi. Standing 11 inches tall, it has a striking sculptural form with a cylindrical lower body, narrow waist and wide flared upper section.

Tamara Aladin was a notable Finnish glass designer whose distinctive modernist designs for Riihimäen Lasi remain widely collected. This substantial Ruusu vase displays beautifully, although it has a small chip on the rim which is clearly shown in the photographs.
