18th Century Georgian Wooden Milking Stool Circa 1750

£ 125.00

On offer is an authentic Georgian wooden milking stool dating to around 1750, a fine example of early rural craftsmanship. The stool features traditional splayed legs and a simple rectangular seat, a practical design commonly found in farmhouses throughout the 18th century. The piece has developed a rich natural patina over more than two centuries of use.

Measuring approximately 12 × 10 inches and standing 11 inches high, the stool shows wear appropriate to age, including an old treated case of woodworm and a slight wobble when sat on. It remains structurally sound and full of character.
