Liberty Tudric Pewter Quaich Bowl No 01285 Attributed to Archibald Knox

£85.00

On offer is a Liberty Tudric hammered pewter quaich bowl, marked with design number 01285. Produced for Liberty and Co in the early 20th century, the Tudric range is closely associated with the Arts and Crafts and Art Nouveau movements, with many designs created by Archibald Knox. The hammered finish and flowing form seen here are characteristic of Knox’s influence and of Liberty’s distinctive hand-crafted metalwork of the period. A well-preserved and highly collectible example of early Tudric pewter.
