On offer is a rare large antique Indian brass tea caddy, traditionally known as a Roti Ka Dabba. This substantial handcrafted box is richly decorated with hand worked repoussé floral and animal motifs across the body and lid, reflecting the skill of Indian metalworkers and long established decorative traditions.

Such brass caddies were used in India for the secure storage of tea, spices, or valued household items, often fitted with a clasp or locking mechanism for safekeeping. The surface retains its original aged patina, left uncleaned to preserve authenticity and character. The engraved decoration and solid construction make this an excellent example of antique Indian brassware with both decorative and historical interest.
