On offer is a large antique solid brass model of a 16th-century galleon, produced by Elpec. Elpec was founded in 1919, its name formed from the surnames of its two partners, Lloyd and Pascal, and became known for quality cast-brass domestic and fireside wares. This example reflects their robust craftsmanship, with richly modelled sails and period ship detailing.

The piece stands at approximately 14 inches tall and 9 inches wide. Two screw holes are present on the reverse, likely remnants of a long-lost handle. The brass has an attractive aged surface, adding to its vintage character.
