On offer is a large Norwegian silver vase dating to the early 1930s, made in 830 standard silver and fully hallmarked for Norway. The maker’s mark was registered in 1929 by the Fabrikantgruppen innen Gull- og Sølvvareleverandørenes Forening, a cooperative association representing Norwegian gold and silverware manufacturers during this period.

The vase is of elegant tapering form with a stepped foot and flared rim, typical of Scandinavian silver design of the interwar years, where clean lines and restrained decoration were favoured. Around the base is an engraved presentation inscription reading:
Til Solvbrudeparrep Benedeffo Fra Famillien Olsen. Gronli. 26/07/1932.
This inscription adds historical interest, recording a family presentation dated 1932.

The condition is good overall, with a couple of small dents to the main body near the lower stem, consistent with age and use. The vase weighs approximately 100 grams and stands just under 8 inches tall. A well proportioned and collectible example of Norwegian 830 silver from the early 20th century.
