On offer is an Isle of Wight glass paperweight featuring a ruffled ribbon-style design in cased opaque white glass. Isle of Wight Studio Glass, founded in 1972 by Michael Harris after his earlier success with Mdina Glass, became well known for its innovative decorative techniques and sculptural hot-glass forms. This example retains the remains of its original label and displays the controlled internal patterning typical of the studio’s work. The paperweight measures approximately 60mm in diameter and is in good condition.
