On offer is a mid-century Ironstone tureen by Broadhurst Pottery in the Melrose pattern, designed by noted British ceramic designer Kathie Winkle. Known for her bold hand-drawn patterns and distinctive modern shapes, Winkle produced some of the most recognisable tableware designs of the 1960s and 70s, and Broadhurst remains closely associated with her work.

This example is in good condition with age-related crazing and light wear commensurate with use. There are no chips or cracks. The tureen displays the classic Melrose geometric motif and has a striking mid-century profile. The diameter is approximately 9.5 inches, not including the handles.
