On offer is a substantial white metal torque bangle with two highly detailed dragon head terminals. The thick woven form and sculpted terminals give the bangle a strong visual presence.

The dragon heads are modelled in relief with open mouths, curling features and textured details. Dragons traditionally represent strength, protection and longevity in East Asian art, although the precise origin and age of this unsigned bangle are unknown.

The metal has the appearance of silver but carries no visible hallmark and has not been tested. It is therefore correctly offered as white metal.
