On offer is a gold fronted sterling silver fob medal hallmarked for Birmingham 1928 and produced by Robert Pringle & Sons, one of Britain’s respected jewellers and silversmiths, renowned for quality watch chains, fobs and fine silverware during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. This attractive medal features an ornate gold front over a sterling silver body and was later engraved as the Summers Cup Snooker Winner D. Sillett 1933, adding genuine sporting history and provenance.
Originally intended to be worn on an Albert watch chain, the medal remains in good condition. It measures approximately 30mm excluding the suspension loop and weighs approximately 11.5 grams. A fine gold fronted silver fob medal combining quality craftsmanship with early twentieth century snooker history.
