On offer is a Georgian wrythen dwarf ale glass dating from around 1800–1820. The glass features the characteristic wrythen-moulded bowl and stands on a stem with a ground and polished pontil mark, typical of early 19th-century hand-blown drinking glasses. The form is elegant and compact, reflecting the drinking fashions of the Georgian period.
The glass measures approximately 6.5 inches in height and is in fine used condition with expected age-related wear. A well-preserved example of a Georgian dwarf ale glass.
